fijiFiji Airways Men’s National 7s coach Osea Kolinisau has highlighted that the door for selection for the upcoming HSBC Perth 7s next week is still open as he is expected to name his squad for the McDonald’s Coral Coast 7s this weekend tomorrow.
Kolinisau says several talented players are vying for a spot in the final travelling squad to Perth next week and it is on them now to prove themselves.
He has also confirmed that the squad for the Perth 7s will be named after the conclusion of the Coral Coast 7s on Saturday.
Fiji will take on Uruguay at 3.22pm next Friday in their first pool match, they will then take on Kenya at 7.59pm Friday before playing New Zealand at 4.22pm next Saturday in their final pool match.
The Men’s Cup quarter finals will kick off at 9.27pm next Saturday, the semi finals will be at 7.05pm Sunday and the cup final will kick off at 11.35pm.
Meanwhile, the Fijiana 7s will take on the USA at 4.06pm next Friday in their first pool match, they will then play Canada at 8.21pm Friday before playing Great Britain at 6.19pm next Saturday in their final pool match.
The Women’s cup quarter finals will kick off at 12.02am Sunday, the cup semi finals will start at 7.49pm Sunday and the cup final will kick off at 12.11am Monday.
