Fiji Airways National Men’s 7s Coach Osea Kolinisau says they are thankful that they took part in the McDonald’s Coral Coast 7s last week, as it made it easier for the team to adapt to the Perth heat.
While speaking ahead of the Perth 7s this afternoon, Kolinisau says that the team is developing and gelling well as most of them played together last week
He says they had a couple of injuries ruling out Jerry Matana and Sevuloni Mocenacagi but the team adapted quickly.
Fiji will take on Uruguay at 3.22 this afternoon in their first pool match of the Men’s competition, they then face Kenya at 7.59 tonight before playing New Zealand at 4.22pm tomorrow in their final pool match.
The Men’s Cup quarter finals will kick off at 9.27pm tomorrow, the semi finals will be at 7.05pm Sunday and the cup final will kick off at 11.35pm.
