The Fiji Bula Boys has secured a crucial 1-0 victory against the Solomon Islands in the FIFA World Cup 2026 Oceania Qualifier at the HFC Bank Stadium.

Captain Roy Krishna netted the winning goal in the 13th minute, giving Fiji an early advantage.

The match took a challenging turn when Aprosa Yada received a red card in the 39th minute, forcing Fiji to play with 10 men for the rest of the game.

Despite the setback, Fiji showed strong defense, holding off the Solomon Islands' attacks.

The win keeps Fiji’s hope alive in their World Cup qualifying campaign.

The Bula Boys will next face Papua New Guinea on November 14th and New Caledonia on November 17th.

The winner of the Oceania Qualifiers will secure a spot in the FIFA World Cup 2026, while the runner-up will have another chance via the FIFA Intercontinental Playoff.
