Reece says the defending boys’ champion Marist will look to retain their title this year, while Suva Grammar School will want to defend the girls’ title and hopefully inspire their boys' team to create an upset this year.
He says the two-day athletics meet will give more time for athletes to rest and those taking part are encouraged to be the best version of themselves compete well in the true spirits of the games and display good sportsmanship.
Reece says security will be tight and students, parents, and guardians can expect heavy Police presence.
He says tickets will be available at the venue, with grandstand tickets selling at $10 per day and embankment tickets costing $7 per day.
The Suva Zone 2 will be held today and tomorrow.
