Swire Shipping Fijian Drua Co-Captain Tevita Ikanivere has been voted as the fijivillage Fan Player of the Match in last week’s Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific round 5 clash against the Brumbies.

The 25-year-old started off the bench, came on at the beginning of the second half, and went on to score a try in the 48th minute of the match.

Ikanivere was nominated alongside backrower Elia Canakaivata and young star flyhalf Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula after the match.

The livewire hooker received 39.3 percent of the votes while Canakaivata received 31.1 percent with Ravula accumulating 29.5 percent of the votes.

Ikanivere came on to the field and made an impact making a total of 9 carries with 1 linebreak and beating 2 defenders on attack.

In defence, Ikanivere maintained a 100 percent tackle rate completing 10 tackles in 10 attempts which included 2 dominant tackles.

Meanwhile, the Drua landed in Perth yesterday as they turn their focus now to their round 6 clash against the Western Force this weekend.
