The Vodafone Flying Fijians held Wales to a 16‑all draw on their last visit to Cardiff in 2010 and this is expected to give a lot of confidence to Fiji as they face Welsh again tomorrow at the Millennium Stadium.
The best performance by Fiji against Wales was in the 2007 Rugby World Cup where the Flying Fijians won 38-34 in the pool match that saw the Welsh crash out of the tournament while Fiji advanced to the quarters.
However, Wales' last match against Fiji was a one-sided affair which Wales won 66-0 in Hamilton during the 2011 World Cup in New Zealand.
Meanwhile, Fiji will be boosted by the return of Vereniki Goneva and Nemani Nadolo who will link up in midfield.
A player who will be keen to impress is fly‑half Josh Matavesi, who plays his club rugby at centre for the Ospreys.
He is relishing the prospect of lining up against club colleagues Scott Baldwin and Justin Tipuric, who are in Wales' starting line‑up.
The Vodafone Flying Fijians will play Wales at 3.30am tomorrow.
In other test matches tomorrow, England will take on South Africa at 3.30am, New Zealand will play Scotland at 6.30am while Australia will play France at 9am.
In a match played this morning, Argentina outscored Italy two tries to none to win 20-18 in a hard‑fought match.
