Veteran prop Wyatt Crockett has announced his retirement from international rugby as well as confirming this will be his last season with the Crusaders.
The 71‑Test All Black has called time on his international career but will play one last season with the Crusaders.
Crockett made 71 Test appearances for the All Blacks and has 187 Super Rugby matches under his belt to date ‑ all with the Crusaders.
Crockett wrote in an open letter, “It is never an easy thing to know when the time is right."
The Crusaders prop will pass Keven Mealamu this weekend for most Super Rugby caps when he plays the Stormers.
The Crusaders will take on the Stormers at 6.35pm Saturday.
On Friday, the Blues will meet the Chiefs at 6.35pm and the Reds face the Brumbies at 9pm.
The Sunwolves will take on the Rebels at 9pm Saturday.
On Sunday, Sharks face the Waratahs at 1.05am, the Bulls meet the Lions at 3.15am while the Hurricanes take on the Jaguares at 9.40am.
