Western Bulldogs Appeal Against Ratus Ban

The Western Bulldogs Club of Australia will appeal against the ban on Inoke Ratu, a Fiji teenager who has been barred from entering Australia.

It is understood that Ratu's travel visa was rejected by the Immigration Department because of his father's military background.

Ratu who was due to travel to Melbourne to train said he hasn't given up hope and will continue training with the Western Bulldogs here in Fiji.

The Immigration Department said the ban is in line with travel restrictions on Fiji's Interim Government.
