"We need to utilize our experienced players.”

That’s the word of Chiefs winger and Vodafone Flying Fijians utility backline Asaeli Tikoirotuma as they prepare to take on Italy this Saturday.

Tikoirotuma said the forwards will have to lift their performance to another notch to match the strong Italy pack.

He said Captain Akapusi Qera, Wame Lewaravu, Sunia Koto and Sireli Bobo will boost their preparation.

Two local based players have been named in the Vodafone Flying Fijians side to face Italy this Saturday.

Suva prop Manasa Saulo and Nadroga number 8 Nemani Nagusa have picked by Coach John McKee to start.

Former Flying Fijians skipper Mosese Rauluni who is now the defense coach was impressed with the level of commitment shown by the players.

Italy will take on the Flying Fijians at 3pm this Saturday at the ANZ Stadium and you can catch the live commentary on our sister station Viti FM.

The Flying Fijians squad: Campese Ma’afu, Tuapati Talemaitoga, Manasa Saulo, Apisalome Ratuniyarawa, Apisai Naikatini, Dominiko Waqaniburotu, Akapusi Qera , Nemani Nagusa, Nemia Kenatale, Jonetani Ralulu, Timoci Nagusa, Nemani Nadolo, Asaeli Tikoirotuma, Napolioni Nalaga, Metuisela Talebula.
