Team Fiji men’s 7s player, Jerry Tuwai says watching the likes of Waisale Serevi and other legends play the game motivated him to take up the sport and follow in their footsteps.
Tuwai who will be a key player for Ben Ryan’s side says he first thought that he would not be able to make it but with the support of his parents and the community he was able to achieve his dream.
Jerry Tuwai says dealing with the added pressure is not something new for them.
Tuwai says after tough training sessions, the team does ice baths, pool sessions and play the Playstation game, FIFA 2016 to relax and bond with each other.

The team will have training sessions on Monday and will depart for their final camp in Chile on Tuesday before heading to Rio.
Fiji will take on Brazil in their first Rio Olympics pool game at 4.30am on August 10th, they will then face Argentina at 9.30am before taking on USA at 4.30am on August 11th.
