Waisale Serevi is the new head coach for the Russia Men’s 7s team.
The Russian Rugby Union has confirmed on twitter that the rugby legend will be the head coach for Russia men 7s team in the upcoming 2018/2019 HSBC World Seven Series.
Serevi posted on Twitter that he is grateful, honoured and humbled to be the coach of the Russia 7s team and he is excited and looking forward to the challenges ahead.
Russia is in pool A with New Zealand, Ireland and Kenya in the Dubai 7s.
Meanwhile, the Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team will face France in their first pool match at 7.06pm this Friday, Fiji will then play Scotland at 10.06pm this Friday.
Fiji’s last pool match will be against Kenya at 4.06am this Saturday.
The Cup quarterfinals start at 8pm this Saturday while the Cup semifinals kick off at 1.17am Sunday.
The Cup final will start at 4.29am Sunday.
