Suliasi Vunivalu currently leads the 2017 Rugby League World Cup try scorers list with eight tries.

Vunivalu is 2nd on the points board with 34 points, two behind New Zealand halfback Shaun Johnson.

The Bati scored seven tries in their match against Italy last night with Suliasi Vunivalu getting a hat-trick.

Meanwhile, Jarryd Hayne has an extensive lead in the overall Rugby League World Cup scoreboard with 14 tries and 56 points.

The Bati will face the loser of the New Zealand and Tonga game in the quarters.

New Zealand will play Tonga this hour, Samoa will take on Scotland at 8pm while Australia will face Lebanon at 10pm.
