He was selected for the 2009 Rugby World Cup 7s in Dubai but Watisoni Votu was replaced in the eleventh hour due to injury and he now aims to be part of a winning side.

Votu's dream was shattered in 2009 after he was injured during training in Sigatoka and he was replaced by Orisi Sareki.

Votu said he is excited about being named in the World Cup squad for the second time but now he will certainly make the trip.
