The Vodafone Fiji Under 20 rugby team went down 44-28 to Wales in their last pool match of the World Rugby Under 20 Championship this morning.
Wales scored five tries compared to four by Fiji.
Kaminieli Rasaku scored twice while Taniela Soqoiwasa and Taniela Ramasibana scored a try each.
This means Fiji remain winless in the competition after also losing to France 36-20 and Argentina 41-14.
It is expected that South Africa, New Zealand, defending champions France, hosts Argentina and Ireland will attempt to join Australia in the semifinals when the pool stages draw to a close in Argentina.
