Golfer Vijay Singh has dropped to ninth place on the latest World Golf Rankings.

Singh who was in eighth place, dropped after he finished in 6th place at the Crown Plaza Invitational tournament yesterday.

He now has 5.23 average points.

America Steve Striker who won the tournament yesterday has taken Singh's place as number eight in the world.

Tiger Woods despite not playing on the weekend remains as the world's number one golfer with 9.18 average points.
