Vereivalu named to defend FORU U19 title

Successful 2009 Fiji U19 Coach Eroni Vereivalu, who guided the Fiji U19 team to last year's FORU U19 title win in Samoa, has now been tasked with taking Fiji to a better ranking at this year's U20 Junior World Cup.
The former Naitasiri Coach will be assisted by Epeli Naituivau as technical advisor and forwards coach.
Champion Nadroga team trainer Lasarusa Cawanibuka has been appointed as the strength and conditioning coach.
Last year's team manager, Dan Domoni retains his position.
In the U19 grades, Vereivalu will be replaced by Lomawai Secondary School U19 head coach Usaia Koroivunilagi.
Former national hooker, Bill Gadolo will assist Koroivunilagi and they will be tasked with retaining the FORU title.
Meanwhile, FRU Operation Manager Vilikesa Rinavuaka said that the FRU Board closely scrutinizes all applicants before making a decision on who will lead Fiji Warriors and Barbarian national teams.
