Veikoso scores 1-year deal with Doncaster Knights

Vodafone Flying Fijians hooker Viliame Veikoso is relishing the chance to showcase his skills in the Championship after sealing a one year contract with the Doncaster Knights in England.

The 32-year-old is understood to have been lined up by Doncaster director of rugby Clive Griffiths over the summer only for red tape to hold up the deal.

But Veikoso has now put pen to paper on a one-year deal and he cannot wait to get started at Castle Park.

Veikoso has earned 29 test caps for the Flying Fijians and featured twice in the 2011 Rugby World Cup.

Veikoso could make his debut in Friday night=s British & Irish Cup clash at Bedford Blues.

Doncaster currently top their pool with three wins out of three.
