Fiji Airways Flying Fijians centre Jale Vatubua has signed with his current French club, Pau for another 3 years.

Vatubua’s contract is expected to end in 2022.

27‑year‑old Vatubua joined Pau in 2012 straight after arriving in France and has now scored 13 tries in 98 matches for the club.

Last month, Vatubua featured for the Flying Fijians in the historic win against France, and will most likely feature in next year's World Cup in Japan.

Vatubua is the third Pau player in recent weeks to sign long‑term contracts with fellow Fijian wing, Watisoni Votu and Florian Nicot, both of whom have signed until 2021.
