VPL kicks off today with Ba and Labasa going head to head

The excitement is on for the Ba and Labasa Soccer team fans as today is game day.

Vodafone Premier League kicks off today with one of the oldest rivals in the Fijian Soccer History going one on one at Subrail Park this afternoon.

The Babasiga Lions side will feature players such as Ravinesh Karan Singh, Antonio Tuivuna and Napolioni Qasevakatini as they have been cleared to play for Labasa.

This has been confirmed by the Fiji Football Association CEO Mohammed Yusuf.

Yusuf has also confirmed that the Labasa side will be missing the services of Christopher Wasasala, Ratu Anare and Vilitati Kautoga as the three have been cleared to play for Suva.

Speaking to Fijivillage Ba Team Manager Arvind Singh had said that this will be one of the best matches of the season while Labasa Team Manager Roneel Lal has said that they are ready to take on Ba.

Ba will take on Labasa at Subrail Park at 1.15pm today.
