None of the Vodafone Fiji Under 20 soccer players will be travelling with the Fiji Under 23 side to Vanuatu this week to play in the Four Nation’s Friendship Cup.

The Fiji Under 23 side which is preparing for the Pacific Games will play against the Solomon Islands, Vanuatu and New Caledonia in a round robin competition.

Head coach Carlos Buzzetti says he will not include any of the Under 20 players as they need to rest after a hectic schedule.

The tournament in Vanuatu will give Buzzetti a chance to test his combination and build a formidable side for the Pacific Games.

The Fiji Under 23 soccer team will play the Solomon Islands at 4pm this Saturday in its first match.

The Pacific Games will be held from the 4th to the 18th of next month.
