The Vodafone Fiji soccer team could not beat Papua New Guinea this afternoon in the OFC Under 17 Championship as both teams drew nil-all.
This was not a good result for Fiji as they were thumped 6-0 in their first match by New Zealand.
Two penalties were also awarded to Papua New Guinea in this match however Fiji was lucky as PNG could not score on both occasions.
Fiji has matches remaining against New Caledonia, Cook Islands and Samoa.
There are two pools and the top two teams from each pool will qualify for the semifinals.
The winner of the championship will qualify for the FIFA Under 17 World Cup.
