Tuva Youth is on track to defend their title at this year’s McDonald’s Fiji Coral Coast 7s as they have qualified to the quarterfinals of the Youth Competition.
They won all their pool matches, defeating Saunivalu Nadi 26-12 in their first match, thumped Ratu Filise Youth 19-7 and defeated Rugby Academy Viti Levu 17-5 in their last pool game.
Tuva Youth will be aiming to win their fifth title this year.
In other matches of the youth competition today, Ratu Filise Youth drew with Rugby Academy Viti Levu 12-12, PSM Aflame Brothers defeated Rugby Academy Vanua Levu 26-5, Vueti Cakau thumped Sigatoka River Safarai Henibua 12-0, Kings 7s Select defeated Kesenavunivalu 19-0 while Saunivalu defeated Ratu Filise Youth 24-5.
Tuva Youth will take on Vunavutu Youth in the first quarterfinal at 10.04am tomorrow, Vueti Cakau will face Ravuka Sharks Youth in the second quarterfinal at 10.24am tomorrow, PSM Aflame Brothers will play Kings 7s Select in the third quarter final at 10.44am while Dominion Brothers will face Saunivalu Nadi in the last quarterfinal at 11.04am tomorrow.
Meanwhile, the Women’s competition will begin tomorrow while the Men’s competition will start on Friday.
