Tournament organisers expect top level rugby at today's Deans

2018 Powerade Super Deans Rugby Championship

The 2018 Powerade Super Deans Rugby Championship quarterfinals will begin at 8.20am this morning with the Under-14 quarter-finals.

Fiji Secondary School Rugby Union Tournament Director Biu Colati says they are ready to host the games tomorrow and are expecting top level rugby.

In the Under 14 matches, Suva Grammar School will play AOG High School at the ANZ Stadium, RKS plays Nasinu Secondary School at Bidesi ground, QVS will face Ratu Sukuna Memorial School at Buckhurst Park while Marist will take on Lelean at Ground 3.

Looking at some well known former players who are working with some schools, Seremaia Bai is working with John Wesley College, Nacanieli Saumi continues to show his value with the Ratu Kadavulevu School teams, Saiasi Fuli with Lelean Memorial School while the Nadroga Rugby Union has been working with Cuvu College.

Nadroga Rugby Union President Tiko Matawalu says they have been supporting Cuvu College in the past four years providing technical advice to the coaches.

Looking at the Under 18 quarter finals, Lelean will take on Cuvu College at 10.50am, QVS will take on Marist at 12.05pm, John Wesley College will take on Ratu Navula College at 3pm while RKS will face Nasinu Secondary School at 4.30pm.
