Tilak beats defending champs Xavier in opening match of Fij Secondary Schools Soccer Competition

Tilak High School has beaten defending U19 champion Xavier College 1-nil in their opening match of the Fiji Secondary Schools Soccer Competition.

In other U19 matches Balata High beat Swami vivekananda 1 nil, Seaqaqa Central College beat Vunimono High 1 nil, Bulileka Sanatan College beat Kamil Muslim College 3 nil, Cuvu College beat DAV Suva 1 nil, Labasa College held Nadi Muslim to a 1 all draw, Tavua College overcame Sigatoka Methodist College 2-nil, while All Saints Secondary School and Baulevu High School drew 1 all.

Kamil Muslim college beat Central College 2-1, Bulileka Sanatan College and Cuvu College drew 1 all, Swami Vivekananda defeated Ahmadiyya Muslim College by 2-nil while Vunimono High beat Balata College 2-nil.

In the U15 category Kamil Muslim beat Lautoka Muslim 2-nil, Nadogo Central College beat DAV Suva 3-2, Labasa College beat Tavua College 1 nil while Korovuto College beat Rishikul Sanatan 1-nil.

Others matches are currently under way.

The U17 category will start at 3 pm this afternoon.
