Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team coach Gareth Baber says the way to beat South Africa is with accurate and hard tackles.
As the Fiji team prepares for the Hong Kong and Commonwealth 7s, Fiji has won the last three games against South Africa which included the Hamilton 7s final, which Fiji won.
Baber says that in the Hamilton 7s final he told the players at halftime to get more aggressive in tackles and attack contact areas more.
Baber says that 7s rugby is a lot like a boxing match.
Baber says if they have the right attitude particularly in defence when they do not have the ball, they will find a way to win.
