The 2017 Pacific Mini Games came to an end last night.
Team Fiji finished third with 23 gold, 27 silver and 23 bronze.
The Fiji Men’s soccer team settled for silver after beating New Caledonia 4-1 while Vanuatu won gold after beating the Solomon Islands 3-2.
The Fiji Men’s and Women’s Beach Volleyball teams settled for bronze.
Fiji’s top amateur boxer Winston Hill settled for bronze in the 69kg category.
The Men’s Tennis double team settled for silver while the Men’s Tennis Events team also settled for silver.
Looking at the overall Pacific Mini Games Medal Tally, New Caledonia finished first with 47 gold, 15 silver and 18 bronze while Papua New Guinea finished second with 33 gold, 30 silver and 22 bronze.
