Tariq Sims look set to debut for the Dragons

St George Illawarra Dragons new recruit Tariq Sims could come straight into the squad with Tyson Frizell now away on Origin duty.

Former Newcastle captain Tariq Sims look set to debut for the Dragons against Melbourne tonight after being granted an early release by Knights on Thursday.

Sims underwent a medical on Thursday and Paul McGregor said he will be considered for selection.

Meanwhile Blake Green who missed his side's 46‑0 thrashing against the Roosters last week has been named to start against the Dragons. 

The Storm clash with the Dragons at 9.30 tonight while the Roosters play the Warriors at 6pm tomorrow.
