Tanivula Meets With Players Individually

Digicel Fiji Sevens coach Iliesa Tanivula is having individual sessions with the players to assess their performance from last week’s New Zealand Sevens before they will jet out for USA this afternoon.

This morning after Tanivula spoke to FRU coaching director Ilivasi Tabua where they exchanged views on what needs to be fixed in San Diego, he took time to highlight a few areas of concern to Etonia Naba, Iliesa Ratuva and William Rasileka who were part of the forwards last weekend.

Winning kick-off ball and poor defense stood out in the side’s loss in Wellington especially the expectations from the experienced players of Naba and Ratuva.

Manager Alifereti Malo said the side will review their performance again when they train in San Diego.
