Navua soccer team goalkeeper Simione Tamanisau has finally been released by the Fiji Police Force to join the national soccer squad for the world cup qualifying round match.
Tamanisau who is currently in Labasa, will join the squad on Thursday and will be the first choice goalkeeper for the National side.
He faced problems earlier in the week sorting his release from work but before going into camp, he will play for the Police Mobile team tomorrow at Ganilau Park for the Commissioner Cup challenge against the Northern Police team.
Fiji soccer coach Carlos Buzetti said Tamanisau's presence is a morale boost to his side.
Meanwhile Lautoka team goalkeeper Laisenia Tuba will not be considered now, as talks were underway to include him if Tamaniasau fails to get his release from work.
The Fiji/Vanuatu match will kickoff on Saturday at 3pm at Govind Park.
