Tadu and Waqa still going strong after making their debut 23 years ago

Two soccer players that started their career in 1996 are still playing 23 years later.

Labasa’s Taniela Waqa and Nasinu’s Usaia Tadu have featured in this year’s Inkk Mobile BOG tournament for their respective teams.

36 year old Waqa will be aiming to win his first BOG title while 40 year old Tadu has won it with Navua and Rewa.

The final round of group matches will be played on Sunday where  Nasinu will face Nadi at 11am, Labasa will play Tavua at 1pm, Rewa will play Lautoka at 3pm while Ba will take on Suva at 5pm.

The semi-finals and final will be played next weekend.
