Chiefs midfielder Johnny Fa'auli says there is indeed a secret to his ability to dish out brutal defensive hits ‑ all those hours of tackling his dad as a youngster.
Type Fa'auli's name into Google and you'll be greeted with a few beauties during his short professional career to date, and none better than the absolute bellringer he put on Reds No 8 Caleb Timu in their Super Rugby clash in Brisbane in the Chiefs' last outing.
Already with a reputation for being a hard hitman, Fa'auli's big hit on Timu will be hard to beat as Super Rugby hit of the year.
Meanwhile the Chiefs will take on the Jaguares at 7.35pm Friday while the Crusaders will face the Rebels at 9.45pm.
