Pacific Sprint King, Banuve Tabakaucoro says he is aiming to run below 10.16 seconds in the 100 metres to qualify for the Rio Olympics next year.
Tabakaucoro recently broke Jone Delai’s record of 10.26 seconds to set a new national record of 10.22secs.
While being hosted to morning tea by Digicel Fiji staff in a special celebration, Tabakaucoro says he is happy after breaking the national record.
He says his main focus now is to qualify for the Olympics next year.
Tabakaucoro will represent Fiji in the Pacific Games in PNG from the 4th to the 18th of July.
