Suva out to steal Farebrother Cup

Suva out to steal Farebrother Cup
The Suva Rugby 15s team does not have any excuse, not to wrestle the Colonial Farebrother Sullivan trophy away from Naitasiri on Saturday.

Those were the words of former Suva coach and current national selectors 15s rugby, Mosese Taga.

Taga was the last Suva coach to win the Farebrother in 2005 when they beat Nadroga under the guidance of current Naitasiri Coach Joji Rinakama.

While he has predicted Naitasiri to start as favourites, he said that the current crop of players in the capital city team has what it takes to match their opponents.

He believes the presence of players from the Army, Police and Navy team will boost their chances.

Naitasiri will play Suva on Saturday at 3pm and a live commentary of the match can be heard on our sister radio station Viti FM.
