Ellis Park will be packed on Sunday as tickets for the Super Rugby final between the Lions and the Crusaders are sold out.
The Golden Lions Rugby Union confirmed the news yesterday with many supporters having to be turned away from ticket offices empty handed.
Some tickets may still become available if season ticket holders do not take up their option to attend the game on Sunday.
After his side's victory over the Hurricanes in their semifinal encounter, Lions coach Johan Ackermann was hoping for a sell out.
He says it will be truly special seeing 60,000 people at Ellis Park supporting both teams.
The Lions will host the Crusaders in the Super Rugby final at 2am Sunday.
