The Melbourne Storm held on to beat the Canberra Raiders 14‑12 in a tight semi‑final and set up a National Rugby League title decider against the Cronulla Sharks.
As expected, the Storm had trouble with the prolific Raiders' attacking skill, but held firm to win and return to the decider for the first time since their 2012 premiership.
Elliot Whitehead scored a converted try after 76 minutes to make it a two‑point game and secure the win.
Cooper Cronk celebrated becoming only the 25th man to play 300 NRL games with the Storm's first try after wing Jordan Rapana had given Canberra an early advantage with his club‑record 23rd try of the season.
Marika Koroibete and Suliasi Vunivalu both played for Melbourne Storm last night.
Meanwhile the Cronulla Sharks beat the Cowboys 32-20 on Friday night.
The 2016 NRL Grand final between Melbourne Storm and Cronulla Sharks will kick off at 8.15pm next Sunday.
