Stallions welcome news about Makutu

Stallions welcome news about Makutu

By fijivillage.com
19/07/2011
The non-inclusion of Penijamini Makutu in the 24 member Flying Fijians squad for the All Blacks Test on Friday is a welcome sign to the Nadroga 15s rugby team.

Makutu was brought in last Saturday in the game against Northland for Nadroga after they did not have enough depth in the front row.

With Suva coming to Lawaqa Park this Saturday for the BSP Farebrother Sullivan trophy challenge, Nadroga cannot afford to field unknown players in that front rows knowing very well the experience Suva has upfront with Alefoso Yalayalatabua and Vesi Rarawa.

The Suva and Nadroga Farebrother match kicks-off on Saturday at 3.30pm and you can catch a live commentary on our sister station Viti-FM.
