Squire signs two‑year deal with NTT Docomo Red Hurricanes from Japan

The All Blacks and New Zealand Rugby have lost another star to the lure of overseas riches, with Highlanders flanker Liam Squire announcing he has signed a two‑year deal with NTT Docomo Red Hurricanes from Japan.

27-year-old Squire announced his departure adding that the current Super Rugby season with the Highlanders will be his last.

Highlanders will take on the Reds at 6.35pm Friday.

The Sunwolves take on the Waratahs at 4.15pm Saturday.

In the biggest match this weekend, the Crusaders will take on Hurricanes at 6.35pm Saturday while the Brumbies take on the Chiefs at 8.45pm Saturday.

On Sunday, the Sharks will take on the Blues at 1.05am, Stormers will take on the Lions at 3.15am and Jaguares will take on the Bulls at 9.40am.
