A number of top athletes from Suva Grammar School are in doubt for next week’s Coca-Cola games due to injuries.
Grammar head coach Jone Delai confirmed this includes senior boys top contender for the 200 metres and 400 metres Kemueli Waqa and sprinter Francis Kirikirikula who were injured during training.
The other two athletes are inter girls 400 meters runner Tailah Ah Yuk and senior girls 200m sprinter Litiana Sukanabose.
Delai said their final decision will be made on Monday whether these athletes will take part.
Meanwhile, the Suva Grammar School Ex-Students Association donated $900 to assist the Grammar team for their special breakfast requirements last night.
The association also launched new uniforms for the athletes.
The Coca-Cola Games will be held next Thursday and Friday at the ANZ Stadium.
