Billy Slater feels he has again put up a case for Queensland State of Origin selection following his scintillating display in Melbourne's 40‑12 defeat of Newcastle last Friday.
Slater was a shock omission from the Maroons squad for Origin I when selectors could not find a place for the Storm veteran on the wing after opting for Darius Boyd at full‑back.
The Storm will face the Sharks at 9.50pm Thursday.
The Blues will host the Maroons in Game 2 of Origin on the 21st of this month.
