The Samoa 7s team is hoping for a repeat performance against Fiji in the Paris 7s this year.

Speaking to World Rugby, Captain Tila Mealoi says they hope to do the same when the Pacific rivals meet in the opening pool match of the Paris 7s tomorrow.

He says winning the Paris 7s last year was special.

The Vodafone Fiji 7s team lost to Samoa 29-26 in the Paris 7s final last year after thrashing them in the pool stage.

Fiji coach, Gareth Baber is expected to name his final 12 later today.

Fiji will play Samoa in their first pool game at 8pm tomorrow.

Our second pool game is against Russia at 11.26pm tomorrow and our final pool match is against Australia at 3.14am Sunday.

The medal quarter finals will start at 8.28pm Sunday, the medal semifinals will be played at 12.18am Monday while the medal final will be played at 3.33am Monday.

Barring any upsets, Fiji is likely to meet South Africa, Canada or Scotland in the quarter finals, they are likely to face England or USA in the semifinal and can face New Zealand or Australia in the final.
