Samoa 7's coach, Fuimaono Tafua has named his squad for the Oceania Sevens and the first round of the IRB 7's series in Australia.
Afa Aiono returns to the squad having missed the entire Sevens Series last year and is joined by another former captain in Lolo Lui.
Tafua's side will compete in the Oceania Sevens before they embark on the new season, which is part of the Olympic qualification process.
The Oceania 7's will start next Wednesday and ends on Friday while the Gold Coast 7's will be held on the 11th and 12th of next month.
Fiji, the All Blacks and Australia will also play in the Oceania 7's tournament in Sunshine Coast.
