The Samoa Under 21 Netball team has arrived in the country for the Digicel Punjas International Youth Netball Series this week.
Other participating teams are expected to arrive today.
The New Zealand Under 21 team which is the number one team in the world, Australia which is currently in second place, as well as 10th placed Samoa and hosts Fiji will be competing in the series.
Promising players that will feature for the Baby Pearls include Maliana Rusivakula, Vilisia Tavui, Episake Kahatoka, Talei Waqainabete, Sereana Maragi, Verenaisi Sawana and Alisi Galo.
The Baby Pearls will meet the Australia U21 team in their first game at 6.40pm Wednesday at the Vodafone Arena.
Meanwhile, the New Zealand Under 21 team will play Samoa at 4pm Wednesday.
