The Samoa Sevens team is expecting a vigorous performance from the Vodafone Fiji Sevens team in their first pool match of the Las Vegas 7s this weekend.
Samoa coach, Damian McGrath says they will be facing a side that is carrying Fiji's hopes on their shoulders so they are expecting an above and beyond performance from their Pacific rivals.
McGrath is hoping that the four new players in his team will be able to make a difference as they were hammered 31-0 by Fiji in the Sydney 7s.
The new players are Eddie Fidow, Savelio Ioane, Alex Samoa and Tele’a Seu-manu-tafa while Alamanda Motuga makes a return to the team.
Fiji will take on Samoa at 1.19pm this Saturday in their first pool match.
They will then play France at 4.20pm Saturday.
