Saint Agnes Primary leads medal tally

Saint Agnes Primary school from Nabua is currently leading the medal tally in the boys division at the Suva Zone 2 meet that is underway at the TFL stadium.

The school athletics team grabbed all gold medals in the 1,500 meters, from the Under-12 grade, with Filipe Cirikiwai bagging the first gold of the day, and Varisiko Mualevu and Allen Brecterfield also grabbed gold in the Under-13 and Under-14 grades respectively.

Looking at the medal tally, Saint Agnes lead the boys division with 3 gold, second is Lami Fijian School with 1 silver and 1 bronze and in third place is Marist Convent with 1 silver.

In the girls division, Lami Fijian School leads the medal tally with 2 gold and 3 silver, second is Saint Agnes with 1 gold and 1 bronze while in third are John Wesley and Navesi Primary with a bronze medal each.

Competition continues at the TFL Stadium in Suva.
