SGS girls to provide stiff competition for Jasper Williams High School

With seven days to go for the 2015 Coca Cola Games, Suva Zone 2 girls champion Suva Grammar School is expected to give Coke Games defending girl’s champion Jasper Williams High School tough competition.

Grammar Athletics team manager Isikeli Senibulu said their preparation is the same as previous years and only time will tell for them to show what they are working on.

Senibulu added that each athlete knows that next week’s games are special for the Grammar family as the school celebrates its 55th Emerald Anniversary this year.

For the first time ever Suva Grammar School will have only one athlete in the Senior Boys Division.

That athlete is long distance runner Inia Sili.

Grammar will be fielding 65 athletes.

Last year the boys finished in 4th place while the girls settled for 17th place.

The Coca Cola Games will be held next Friday and Saturday at the ANZ Stadium.
