Former Vodafone Fiji 7s playmaker William Ryder believes he is ready to make his comeback into the national 7s side.
Speaking to Fijivillage, Ryder says is he is fit, fast and has even lost 25kg.
The 32-year-old who took the World Sevens Series by storm 10 years ago with his skills and pace.
He was dropped from the national side after some off the field discipline issues.
Ryder says he is a changed man now.
He says Vodafone Fiji 7s coach Ben Ryan has been advising him.
The last time Ryder wore the Fiji 7s jersey was in 2010 when they won the Wellington 7s.
He says his Yoyo test score is 20 which is close to the Fiji 7s team average of 19.
This means that Ryder is well on track to impress Ben Ryan in the three day tournament.
Meanwhile he has been selected to captain the FWCC Red Rock side.
They are pooled with Tonga, Wardens and BLK First Landing.
Their first match is against Wardens at 11am tomorrow.
The 2016 Fiji Bayleys Coral Coast 7s will kick off at 10am tomorrow at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka.
