The Sydney Roosters have successfully defended their NRL title after beating the Canberra Raiders 14-8 in the grand final.
James Tedesco was the hero as he scored the winning try in the 72nd minute.
One of the highlights of the Roosters win was their brick wall defence as time and again they held the Raiders attack at bay.
The Roosters have now become the first team to record back-to-back premierships in 26 years.
The win also means retiring Roosters star Cooper Cronk finishes his career with victory in his ninth Grand Final.
