Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi headline the 2017 UEFA Team of the Year.

A record 8.8m votes were cast to decide the XI, with users deciding on their preferred formation from a shortlist of 50 players chosen by the UEFA.com editorial team.

Other top players included in the team are Kevin de Bruyne, Eden Hazard, Sergio Ramos, Marcelo and Toni Kroos.
