Former Manchester United and England defender Rio Ferdinand is launching a new career as a professional boxer, two years after he retired from football.
Ferdinand says he is doing this because it is a challenge, he has won many titles as a footballer and now aims to win a belt.

He has posted several social media videos in recent months showing him boxing and British and unified world heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua has offered to spar with Ferdinand.

Ferdinand won 6 English Premier League titles with United
Meanwhile, Ferdinand’s former team Manchester United will play Southampton at 2am Sunday in the English Premier League.
