The Rewa and Labasa soccer teams have lodged protests against Lautoka in the Vodafone Premier League.

Lautoka defeated Labasa 4-1 while Lautoka beat Rewa 2-1 in the last round of VPL.

The Rewa and Labasa soccer teams have highlighted in their protests that Lautoka should have not fielded Poasa Bainivalu against them as he was suspended by the Lautoka Soccer Association.

Fiji FA’s CEO, Mohammed Yusuf says they will have the hearing of the protests before the Courts IDC next month.

Rewa which sits second last on the points table with 11 points is fighting for survival in the Premier competition while Labasa which is fourth with 16 points is hoping to secure a spot in the OFC Champions League.
